Well, I think I made it pretty clear in yesterday's post that I was, errr, having some cold feet. I always like the IDEA of challenges, but when it comes right down to it, I think I don't actually like them!!! haha. At least maybe not in this phase of my life. 30 days is… Continue reading Whole 30 Day 5: pivot….

Whole 30 Update: Days 1-2
I don't want this "Whole 30" thing to take over my blog for the next couple weeks, as I realize there may be varying levels of interest! I also know that talk of diets + restricting in any way could be triggering for some people. But, I also think some people might be interested! And… Continue reading Whole 30 Update: Days 1-2
Pondering: G.R. and extreme diet changes
It's been an enjoyable weekend so far. Yesterday I NEEDED some open time to catch up on some things- I had been persistently sort of ignoring my personal email inbox honestly since we got home from Costa Rica. I mean, I had dealt with the must-dos, but it had just really accumulated and needed attention.… Continue reading Pondering: G.R. and extreme diet changes
A current diet “hack” that’s working pretty nicely for me
Okay, I'm not sure if "hack" is really the right word. But bear with me. I've not been tracking macros or anything specifically lately. I also am not on any official mission to "clean up my diet" or anything, either. But in the past couple weeks, I have found myself trying to sort of intuitively… Continue reading A current diet “hack” that’s working pretty nicely for me

My experience with macro counting/ IIFYM
Okay, disclaimer- this is a topic that I could go on and on about, so I will try my best to keep this concise (edited to add- I lied. This is not concise.) I want to get more into my personal experience, but I feel like I should give a little "101" level intro first… Continue reading My experience with macro counting/ IIFYM
Today’s thoughts: Work + Health
WORK: Work has been a bit intense lately. The long vacation break was very restorative for me, but I returned to sort of a chaotic scene. I mentioned before that I'm newly responsible for covering a bunch of tasks for someone who recently left. All in all, it's going okay, but you know how it… Continue reading Today’s thoughts: Work + Health
