It wasn’t a ton of snow and it was wet, so it really wasn’t very slippery. But we still managed to have an argument (before leaving home) as… Continue reading Sunday scenes: teens driving in snow and teen reading
1) It’s officially Thanksgiving break. Asher actually has this entire week off! Lucky him. Ethan had school Monday and Tuesday, complete with several tests and quizzes. He’s done now until next Monday. I don’t really have much of a break. I mean, I’m obviously off Thursday, but I didn’t take Friday off. Due to the… Continue reading Vacation Hours + other Tuesday Misc.
Real quick clarification: Last night I posted VERY quickly and rather late from my phone, and I wrote: "At a wedding tonight for a friend of Ivan's son!" My sister in Ireland, who read my blog post with her morning coffee probably while all my U.S. readers were still sleeping, texted me that I had… Continue reading A possibly confusing typo + correction
Charlie watching Asher walk away from the car on his way to school Outfit of the day: posting keeps me accountable and not in the same leggings/hoodie combo I am tempted to wear on repeat. 🔷 A 50 foot dog leash We have a fenced in yard, but our backyard also has a lot of landscaping beds and other places Charlie can get into mischief. He is also definitely still working on recall (i.e. coming to us when called) and currently has very selective hearing. 😆 Letting him off leash… Continue reading A few good recent purchases!
I just wrote a whole post blabbing on about feeling discombobulated today and some things that weren't working and what the potential causes were. And then I deleted the whole post. I don't know, it was annoying me to even read about it. So if I don't want to read about it, why would you?… Continue reading Monday struggles… deleted post
Happy belated Halloween. Hope you all had a fun and spooky day! 🎃 We got our first snowfall yesterday morning. Here is Charlie licking it to find out what the heck this cold wet stuff is: And now, on to November! Wow. There is a big part of me that keeps thinking it is like,… Continue reading November!
You all know I am a fan of silly memes and basically anything that gets a laugh or smile out of me, randomly. I've accumulated a couple fun ones lately: #1: Made me laugh hysterically. I saw this one right after our especially busy summer, with multiple houseguests from all sides of the family. Our… Continue reading Fall and Friday Funnies
How is it Thursday already?! I feel like this week is flying by. As promised, I'm just checking in to see if my week has, indeed, resembled any semblance of normal, or not. I'd say.... sort of. Ha. Wins: 🔷 I have worked out 3 times!! Monday - shoulders/tris at the gym. Tuesday - 30… Continue reading As promised, checking in
