Feeling good about this Saturday!!
Ivan took Asher to swim practice (6:50 a.m.) and then dropped Ethan at work nearby (7:00 a.m.). They took Charlie with them in the car, so I stayed home and did this:

Very nice start to the day!
Quickly showered after that and then picked up Asher from swim practice at 8:15.
After a brief Target run, i then accomplished a few key tasks for the day:
- Rearranged all my clothes (swapped summer clothes out for winter). This was highly overdue since it is November already… Always a big project but my closet and drawers are all nicely organized now! YAY!!!
- Took down and put away all my Halloween stuff! Ivan got the ladder out and took down the Spooky Guys that hang in our tree.
- Hit the gym for a back and biceps workout.
- Ate some yummy homemade milanesas. (Okay, not really an accomplishment because Ivan primarily made them, but I helped a little with prep and clean up and ate them and enjoyed them. 🙂 )
About to go start the game of “let’s try to pick a movie from the various streaming services” for a family movie night.
Charlie pics…. because of course…

Daily Gratitude:
I am grateful for getting my closet organized. Also tried on a bunch of my clothes and feel pretty confident that most everything in my closet currently is wearable/ fits/ etc.

we saw two dogs that look like Charlie this morning with the girls, and I told them a friend of mine has a dog just like it. 🙂
Milanesas!!! how Ivan makes them?

That’s sounds like a perfect mix of relaxed and productive Saturday, if you ask me 🙂 And Charlie really is cute.
Uh, milanesas = Wiener Schnitzel, yes? Yummy!

Gosh Charlie is cute! We had a pretty productive Saturday, too. We got the rest of our leaves raked up and in yard bags and I made pork enchiladas with rice using the pork carnitas I had made in the instant pot last Sunday!

Every post should include AT LEAST one Charlie photo!
Your day sounds really nice. But you’ve reminded me that my outdoor Halloween decorations are still up (obviously I’m not turning on the lights… but still). That was on my “to do” list for today, but now I’m sitting on the couch watching football and I feel a nap coming on, so…

Listen, eating and enjoying the food someone else made is IMPORTANT WORK. You are showing appreciation for the energy and time put into making it.
Love your photos, especially of a sleepy Charlie. 🙂

Charlie is SOOO cute (I know you know that, but really – SO CUTE, Kaelyn).
Also, love that you got to spend some time in the hot tub and have figured out an evening workout routine. Yay to all of this.

Wow in the hot tub this early? But it does seem like a relaxing tart to the weekend. I admire people who are going. through the closet on a regular basis. I am not. I hate it. But there is much stuff in there that I might need too.
